DRTV Media Buying RFP

Project Summary
The USO is committed to investing in a balanced fundraising portfolio including the acquisition of sustaining (monthly) donors across a variety of channels. DRTV is considered a crucial part of the expansion of this portfolio and is seeking an Agency partner to perform the following services for its sustainer acquisition program:
The successful DRTV media buying team will
- Propose an initial media strategy designed to cost-effectively generate sustaining donors at scale. This plan will identify and recommend initial stations and outlets for testing, project the expected inbound volume, and provide crucial reporting of the program’s performance, while continuously optimizing the media plan on a weekly basis.
- Conduct testing across traditional cable, satellite, syndication, etc. outlets over a period of 3 months. In the event initial KPIs are met, the program may be funded to continue beyond the initial phase. CTV and online options for DRTV are not being considered as part of this test.
- Provide visibility into performance, data that drives decision making and other industry performance trends relevant to this DRTV media test.
Direct Response Digital AOR RFP

Project Summary
USO is seeking a full-service direct response digital agency to come on board as an agency of record providing strategic, creative, media buying and production services to support with digital fundraising for the USO. We are looking for a strategic partner(s) to position us for greater impact amidst our rapidly changing digital environment.
The successful bidder will define and implement a strategy which incorporates best practices from direct response non-profit fundraising to achieve improved lead generation, first-time gifts, and sustainer conversion. In addition, USO’s objective is to grow its overall direct response net revenue by 11% over the next three fiscal years with online fundraising increasing by 30% over the same period (10-11% increase each year). The agency(ies) should provide excellent client partnership and service, strategic direction, inventive ideas, creative and production support, and reporting and analytics for a full funnel direct response digital.
Online Contribution Platform RFP

Project Summary
USO is looking for an online fundraising platform to bring all aspects of digital fundraising under one umbrella. This should help us to create branded, customized donation pages, improve lead generation, accept online gifts (including one-time and recurring donations), transfer donor information into USO’s payment gateway.
The successful bidder will define and implement a strategy which incorporates best practices from commercial e-commerce to achieve improved lead generation, first-time gifts, and sustainer conversion. In addition to the above, USO’s objective is to grow its overall net revenue by 11% over the next three fiscal years with online fundraising increasing by 50% over the same period. To attain this goal, we must grow our international online capabilities in the following areas:
- Recurring giving programs
- Increased donation activity
- Supporter cultivation and retention
- Increased legacy (honors & memorial) giving
- New donor acquisition
- Cross-selling of supporters from other direct marketing channels
- Increase activism opportunities to engage existing and prospective donors
