In December, WWE Superstar Mike “The Miz” Mizanin joined fellow WWE Superstar Alicia Fox, actor Adam Devine, comedian Iliza Shlesinger, singer Jerrod Niemann, Chef Robert Irvine and others on the USO Holiday Tour led by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Marine Gen. Joe Dunford, to visit and spread holiday cheer to service members deployed and stationed overseas.
The experience, according to Mizanin, was something he will never forget.
“The USO has brought me a new appreciation for our armed forces–for our military,” said Mizanin, who visited Marine Barracks, Washington, D.C., with the USO in 2016. “This is the least I could do for everything they sacrifice for my freedom and my family’s freedom. The birthdays, the weddings, the holidays, because you’re over here or you’re somewhere where you can’t be with your family because you’re protecting our freedom.”
You can send a message of support and thanks directly to service members via the USO’s Campaign to Connect. Your messages will appear on screens at USO locations around the world.
