Mary-Elizabeth joined the USO’s development team in 2015 after being a volunteer for USO Metropolitan Baltimore-Washington for 6 years. Her desire to support America’s military stems from her passion to serve others and learning from the example of her extended family and many peers who answered the call to serve our nation. Mary-Elizabeth now serves as the Senior Director of Philanthropy which provides her the opportunity to work closely with patriotic individuals and family foundations. She is humbled to offer donors the chance to deepen their support of the USO’s mission and make a lasting impact on the lives of our military. Mary-Elizabeth has over a decade of experience cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors for causes she holds in high regard. She honed her fundraising skills while serving alumni, parents, and friends of The Catholic University of America and The University of Maryland and she is thrilled to have added the USO’s mission to the list of noble causes to which she dedicates her career.

A native of Portland, Maine, Mary-Elizabeth moved to the DC area for college where she graduated from Catholic University with a degree in Politics. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family (particularly her nieces and nephew), competitive swimming, and frequent visits to the beach and her coastal hometown.
