Cast members Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley, Chris Sullivan and Susan Kelechi-Watson from the hit NBC series, “This Is Us,” stopped by Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, in May 2017 to spend some time with a few hundred service members. While visiting with the 87th Logistics Readiness Squadron and getting an up-close look at several aircraft, this trip marked the first USO tour for most of the cast except Ventimiglia, who traveled to bases across Southwest Asia in 2008, Europe in 2009 and Walter Reed Army Medical Center in 2010. Check out the video below to see more of their USO tour.
Along with the tour, Moore, Ventimiglia, Metz, Hartley, Sullivan and Kelechi-Watson also joined the USO in our effort to #flex4forces in 2017. You can catch them striking a pose below.
Celebrity Connection“We don’t get opportunities like this. … This is all new territory and it is super exciting and it's fun for us to get to meet people and see how this joint base operates.” - Mandy Moore
