WASHINGTON—Celebrities, service members and longtime USO supporters came together this week to honor the USO at a special 75th anniversary reception held in the nation’s capital.

During the event, USO tour veterans, supporters and corporate partners took a moment to share their best wishes for the USO as it looks towards its next 75 years.

After witnessing an act of heroism by the U.S. Coast Guard as a child, Lt j.g. Hannah C. Walker decided early on that she wanted to join the military and become a Coastie. Now, more than two decades later, she not only has a successful career in the Coast Guard, she also recently participated in the USO’s inaugural Dancing with the Stars and Stripes showcase at Fleet Week Fort Lauderdale.
