"USO - For the Troops": Dignified Transfer
Every American service member who dies in combat overseas returns to the United States through Dover Air Force Base. These service members are honored with a dignified transfer ceremony conducted by an elite honor guard. Behind the scenes, the USO aids the honor guard every step of the way.
