“Juliette is the daughter of two Coast Guard officers,” her father Jeff shared. “She wants to be in the Coast Guard when she grows up. Juliette was inspired to write this poem after watching a regimental review at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy this spring.”
From the sea to the bay, the Coast Guard always saves the day.
If you are ever in danger, they won’t be a stranger.
Forever and always will the Coast Guard save you; they are mighty but also few.
Some think the Coast Guard is not too important;
But they are wrong, the Coast Guard is just as strong!
When they hear a call of distress from a nearby marina or inn,
They will be out so fast it would make your head spin!
This Service of the military is always ready to blossom;
Because the Coast Guard is super awesome!
