#Flex4Forces is stronger than ever!
The social media campaign – in its second year – demonstrates our appreciation and commitment to service members and their families. It is a simple way to show our nation’s heroes you support them and believe a strong America is a force for good in the world!
USO supporter Chef Robert Irvine helped us kick off the campaign and kept the momentum going through July 4.
May is #MilitaryAppreciationMonth - let’s show our nation’s finest there is strength in numbers and #Flex4Forces! I nominate @therock @zacbrownband @ciara @PHILHEATH to flex next! From there, not only did we see some flex-tastic photos from across the world, but the USO broke the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the most people performing a bodybuilding pose simultaneously. A crowd of 803 people held the flexing pose to set the monumental record on the National Mall and to show strength and support for service members. Now that’s strength in numbers!
Veteran and White House Special Events Chef Andre Rush lent his biceps to the campaign while flexing his skills at the grill on “Good Morning America.” He challenged anchor Lara Spencer on air and his idol, Arnold Schwarzenegger, during the GMA Wake Up Call Facebook Live. The Terminator himself answered back with this video and nominated USO supporter and Houston Texans star JJ Watt to flex next.
Here are some other celebs who took to their own social media to flex their biceps (or thighs… we’re looking at you Jared Padalecki) for good in 2018!
