Actresses Hailee Steinfeld, Brittany Snow, Chrissie Fit, Ester Dean Hana Mae Lee and Elizabeth Banks joined “Today” show co-host Al Roker for a USO tour of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey to talk about the Bellas’ final appearance in “Pitch Perfect 3” and their efforts to bring awareness to America’s troops and to the USO.
“Big stuff like this is very important because it reminds everyone how important your job is, [and] how cool your job is,” said Air Force Senior Airman Arnold Moses. “You lose sight of the big picture sometimes and stuff like this reminds you that it’s actually pretty cool what you get to do every day.”
The group toured a KC-10 Air Refueling Tanker and visited with troops and their families from various units around the base.
“As the joint base commander, I’m going to feel the effects and benefits of this visit for days to come,” said Air Force Col. Neil Richardson. “Morale has shot through the roof and it will be the buzz for days to come.”
