Here in Houston, the impact is local and personal. Each year, USO Houston supports over 130,000 service members and their families through programs and services offered at our centers in Bush Intercontinental Airport, Hobby Airport, and the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) located in downtown Houston. We serve more than 10,500 active-duty service members from every branch of the military, including those stationed at Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base.
From the moment they raise their hand at MEPS, through deployments, long airport layovers, homecomings, and even their transition to civilian life, the USO is by their side offering a warm smile, a sense of home, and morale and resiliency programs no matter where they are in the world.
Our commitment is unwavering. Whether it’s supporting military families, caring for the wounded, ill, and injured, empowering military spouses and transitioning service members, or honoring the families of the fallen, USO Houston is here for those who need us the most.
