Chicago White Sox Season of Giving
USO of Illinois welcomes those from the Chicago White Sox Season of Giving initiative! The White Sox have a lot to be thankful for in 2020, including back-to-back-to-back-to-back home runs by Moncada, Grandal, Abreu and Jiménez on August 16, Giolito’s no-hitter, promising rookie debuts, making the postseason for the first time since 2008, and – last but certainly not least – the fierce support of dedicated White Sox fans cheering from home!
This holiday season the Chicago White Sox are challenging fans to consider what they are thankful for and how they choose to make an impact on the Chicagoland community! From Thanksgiving through the end of the year, share your photos on social media using #SoxGive. For more information, please visit www.whitesox.com/soxgive.
USO of Illinois provides care and comfort to nearly 350,000 service members and their families annually. Since 9/11, service members in Illinois have reported to boot camp, trained, deployed, come home and transitioned, thousands of times. USO of Illinois has responded without fail and expanded programs and services to meet the ever-changing needs of our nation’s military. Whether it’s supporting troops overseas or on the homefront, the USO remains by the side of our military and their families. Our Military is on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic assisting medical professionals at testing sites, in hospitals and on bases across the globe. During these uncertain times, we have provided nothing short of the very best. The mark of our success is the quality of support we extend to our military at every single visit to a USO Center or experience at a USO Military Youth & Family and Community Connection Program. With your help, the hundreds of dedicated volunteers and USO staff members can do just that. Thank you for your support and welcome to the Force Behind the Forces®.
