Support USO Guam in this critical moment
As the world responds to the COVID-19 pandemic, the USO Guam team continues delivering the USO mission in meaningful ways for sailors self-isolating aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt and other service members across Guam.
USO Guam has moved with great agility to address the entirely new set of stresses our troops and their families face. Some examples of how USO Guam’s mission delivery has pivoted in the wake of COVID-19:
- Delivered a total of 8,312 USO care packages to USS Theodore Roosevelt sailors.
- Provided 110 Wi-Fi hot spot connections to 1,000 sailors currently self-isolating.
- Delivered hot meals for military security and medical teams working long shifts to care for sailors with 800+ meals delivered to date.
- Conducted virtual programming offerings like “U-SO Fit: Partner Workout”, a Virtual Easter Program: “Color Me Egg-cited" and “USO MRE (Meals Really Easy)” cooking program featuring a sweet and savory appetizer with dates and bacon to thousands of viewers, connecting service members and their families to meaningful programming.
The ability of the USO Guam team to execute on the USO mission wouldn’t be possible without generous patriots like you.
