What the USO is Doing in Response to Coronavirus
The USO remains in close alignment with military commands and goes where no other nonprofit can go to support the emergent needs of our Armed Forces. With the scale and reach of the USO, we are able to mobilize and help service members and military families being impacted by the coronavirus outbreak – at home and abroad globally and virtually. The USO has pivoted resources across the entire global enterprise in an approach that helps care for military members and their families.

Due to COVID-19, operations at many USO facilities are impacted. However, our teams around world continue to demonstrate resiliency as we adapt in the most innovative ways to bring care, comfort and connection to service members and military families. During this difficult time, the USO’s mission to maintain strong connections between service members and their families, home and country remains crucial. USO staff has been delivering more with more innovation than ever and finding creative ways to deliver our mission — providing entertainment digitally, care packages, adapted virtual programs, food and refreshments to those in quarantined and to Active Duty, National Guard and Reserves working on the front lines.
Please check center operating status and program offerings in your area and the mobile app to see what is available in your location. We remain committed to responsibly supporting our service members and their families across the United States and overseas.
