The USO wants to hear from you!
It was a conflict that shaped a generation. Even today, over seven decades later, we continue to tell the stories of World War II – the war that changed the world – and the millions of Americans who lived through it.
Were you, a friend or a family member one of them?
Do you remember your grandfather’s stories of wading through the waters on D-Day? Did your mother work endless hours, assembling the artillery that kept the war effort moving? Were you in the crowd of one of Bob Hope’s now-legendary front line USO Camp Shows?

The USO is looking for WWII memories, family stories or photographs just like this!

In rememberance of the end of WWII, the USO is collecting personal stories and photographs from veterans, military family members and USO supporters like you to add to our archives and share with our community. We believe that these stories matter, and that they should be remembered.
We are excited to hear more about you or your family’s WWII story, and to ensure the preservation of a generation’s service to their country.
