“A lot of people will come into the USO and they don’t know about the [Bob Hope Legacy Reading] program. We, as volunteers, get to teach them and show them [what it’s all about]. The best thing is to see their face when they know that they can connect with their children through such a system like that. They can do a book a day. It’s just crazy and the books are great books.”
