Front & Center: Keith in Andersen Air Force Base, Guam
“One of the hard things about being a military member here [in Guam] is that the food is so good. I understand the average military member gains somewhere in the area of 20 to 30 pounds during their tour here on Guam and that’s because of the red rice and the chicken and the finadeni and the ribs. I always enjoy meals like this. Thankfully, I did my PT test this morning and just did well on it so I can enjoy the [Guamanian food that USO Guam brought for us today].”

Editor’s note: To help foster connection and understanding between civilians and service members, we created this series, “Front & Center,” and traveled to USO locations around the world to speak to troops about life in the military and the everyday things they love. Here’s what they had to say.
