COLUMBUS, Ohio—From its hashtag-sporting exterior to its expansive seating area, every aspect of the new Mobile USO has been designed with comfort and connection in mind.

“We tried to build the vehicle in a manner that … can give a great experience whether you’re inside or can see it going down the highway,” said Steve Goodyear, Vice President of Sales for Farber Speciality Vehicles, the company that engineered and build the new Mobile USO.

A USO center on wheels, the custom-built USO Mobile vehicle features a 60-inch exterior TV, surround sound, five XBOX One gaming stations, Wi-Fi and more for service men and women to enjoy.

“These are the things that the soldier needs after a hard day of training,” said USO Event Maintenance Coordinator John Brunson, who is part of the Mobile USO team. “[We] just [want the new Mobile USO Center to] have that home-away-from-home atmosphere. And that’s what we try to do for our men and women in uniform.”

You can send a message of support and thanks directly to service members via the USO’s Campaign to Connect. Your messages will appear on screens at USO locations around the world.
