Much of the success of the USO is directly attributed to the generosity and dedication of its donors. USO donors help volunteers and staff fulfill the organizational mission of boosting the morale of our nation’s finest. An increase in programs and service offerings from the USO has been due, in large part, to the dedication and support of the American people. Thanks to their generosity, the USO has been able to supply deploying troops with more than one million Operation USO Care Packages; purchase and distribute more than two million phone cards; and help deploying troops stay connected to the children in their lives by taping themselves as they read aloud from children's books.
Many of the programs and services the USO provides would not be possible without the generous support of our friends and community. USO donors have given their financial support to help fund new programs and services, open new centers, purchase new mobile USOs and seek out new ways of improving the lives of the military community. Whether they give $5 or $5,000, our donors positively impact the lives of more than 1.5 million active duty service members and 1.2 million members of the National Guard and Reserves.
