Ken L. Fincher, M.A., CFRE

 

Vice President of Field Development

 

Ken is the vice president of Field Development for USO WHQ. In this capacity, Ken provides philanthropic advice to donors and institutional advancement support to more than 130 USO centers around the world. He has served the not-for-profit sector for more than 21 years with leadership positions in the Boy Scouts of America, the American Red Cross and the YMCA.

Ken obtained his Bachelor’s in Social Sciences from Shorter College, Rome, Ga. He was also awarded his Master’s in Philanthropy and Development from St. Mary’s University, Winona, Minn. Ken completed the Executive Leadership course at Vanderbilt University’s Graduate School of Business and holds a Mini-MBA for Non-Profit Managers, from the University of St. Thomas, Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is also a Certified Fundraising Executive and a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

Ken resides in Schertz, Texas, a suburb of San Antonio, with his wife, and four children. Ken is a member of the board for the San Antonio State School, and is active in advancing the cause of international adoptions.
