71 and Going Strong

The USO has provided goodness to our nation's servicemen and women for 71 years and as the times have changed, so too has our organization.

Both on stateside and international bases -- in times of peace and war -- the USO has steadfastly delivered our special brand of comfort, morale and recreational services to the military, expanding and adapting to meet the changing needs of our troops and their families.

Sometimes it is a group of celebrities providing entertainment to deployed troops. Other times it is a friendly face, a warm hug and a hot cup of coffee at an airport USO center. On other occasions it is a program conducted to help a troop get a job or adjust to life away from the battlefield. In all cases, it is the USO showing the gratitude of a nation and lifting the spirits of our nation's military and its families.
