The official score might still be 0-0, but for the USO, several of its corporate partners and thousands of patriotic NFL fans in Miami, Super Bowl XVI has already been a big win.

As part of the USO-NFL partnership and the NFL’s Salute to Service campaign, the USO was on the ground at the Super Bowl Experience at the Miami Beach Convention center to share the mission of the organization with football fans at the event.

Visitors could stop by the USO booth to relax in a mini USO center, sign banners of thanks for overseas service members, play a mission-impact bean bag toss or take a photo in a USO Show-themed photo booth. Civilian and military visitors alike — including Tuskegee Airman Col. Charles McGhee — enjoyed learning about all the ways the USO supports active-duty, Reserve and Guard service members and their families throughout their time in service.

Additionally, the USO also worked with two of its partners — FedEx and USAA — to surprise two lucky transitioning service members, who are USO Pathfinder® clients, with tickets to the big day.
