Operation USO Care Package Program Partners

One of the most appreciated programs of the USO is Operation USO Care Package (OUCP). Packages filled with reminders of home let deploying troops know they are not forgotten. Learn more about the Operation USO Care Package, and see how corporations support this valuable program below.

Four Star Sponsors

Bass Pro Shops

Bass Pro Shops’ annual “Reelin’ It in for the Troops” promotion has raised almost $1.5 million for OUCP since 2003.  Customers can make a $1, $3, or $5 donation in each Bass Pro Shops store and receive a card to write a message to a member of the armed services.  These note cards are then sent to the OUCP warehouse and inserted in USO care packages.

FedEx

From 2006 to 2010, FedEx has committed to donate $250,000 of in-kind shipping each year to off-set the cost of sending care packages to service members.  In addition, each year they donate $50,000 in cash to the USO in support of general programs and services and $20,000 of in-kind shipping services for the USO’s general needs.  In 2010, Fed Ex gave an additional $20,000 in in-kind shipping to support the inaugural Military Family Care Package Program.
