Rap Artist Wall Preps for Fifth USO Tour

Thursday, January 12, 2012

Over and over, Grammy-nominated rap artist Paul Wall shows his love and appreciation for our nation's servicemen and women by providing entertainment, wherever they are stationed. Wall will be heading out on his fifth USO tour since 2007 this winter to bring beats and smiles to our troops deployed in the Middle East. (Specific locations and dates are withheld for security purposes at this time.)

Called "The People's Champ," Wall will sign autographs, pose for photos and put on five performances in three countries.

"I'm excited to be going back to the Middle East,” Wall said. "Whenever I have downtime, the first thing I start thinking about is my next USO tour. I have so much respect for the men and women who serve this country and am looking forward to spending some time with them."

Reconnecting with his underground roots, the Houston native has recently released several singles as free downloads to his fans, including such hits as "Money" and "2 Cups." Wall's most recent album "Politics as Usual," hit stands last January.
