EXCITING NEWS!!!
As an additional benefit this year, we have recruited a running coach. His name is Rick Carter. Rick has eight years of experience training marathon and long distance runners and was trained by Olympic Marathoner and Runners World writer, Jeff Galloway. During his time as a coach at the National AIDS Marathon organization, Rick coached thousands of runners and has participated in 15 marathons and many other long distance races. While Rick is based in the Washington, DC area, he will be able to answer questions about training, provide biweekly emails on best practices, and act as TEAM USO’s motivational coach for all of our runners worldwide. He will also be running the MCM Marathon and attending the USO Spaghetti Dinner the night before the race.
