USO - Marine Corps Marathon

We’re asking each Marathon runner to commit to a minimum fundraising goal of $850 and each 10K runner to commit to a fundraising goal of $250. By helping to raise funds for the USO, you’ll receive a variety of benefits. Perhaps more importantly, you will have made a positive difference in the lives of our troops and their families.

If you get into the Marathon or 10K on your own, but would like to raise funds for the USO anyway, let us know and we’ll treat you just like one of our sponsored runners (race support, etc). All proceeds raised by Team USO will go directly to the organization to help fund vital programs and services for our men and women in uniform and their families.

By helping to raise funds for the USO, you’ll receive a variety of benefits as well as support an organization that helps improve the quality of life for U.S. troops and their families.

Online Personalized Fundraising Web site:

Upon registration, a personal, customizable online fundraising Web site will be created for you to help you reach your fundraising goals. You will easily be able to manage your own donation site, solicit donations online and in person, monitor your donation totals, and send e-mail thank you notes to all your donors. You will also be able to personalize your own donation site with pictures and text. Everything is all set up for you - just register to start the easiest and most gratifying fundraising event you'll ever participate in.

In addition to this easy method of fundraising online, we have also come up with some creative ideas to inspire you to exceed your fundraising goal and have fun doing it. Try hosting one of the following events with the proceeds going towards your fundraising goal.
