Kellie Pickler recently completed her first USO tour to the Middle East to visit with troops serving in Iraq, and Great American Country host Storme Warren went along to document the life-changing experience.
Now, Pickler shares her USO journey from Nashville to more than a half-dozen bases and isolated combat outposts scattered throughout Iraq. Her trip included numerous flights on Blackhawk helicopters, manning the turret position on a Bradley Fighting Vehicle, and greeting and performing for thousands of men and women in uniform. The USO tour gave her a greater appreciation for the personal sacrifices being made by thousands of men and women her own age in a hostile environment.
The special also features interviews with Kellie, personal accounts from our troops, and stunning images of Iraq. Join Kellie as she makes new friends, new memories, and gains a new perspective on the world.
