4th of July Weekend Cookout

USO of Indiana welcomed home and gave a good send off to our troops on July 5th at Camp Atterbury. Our volunteers served hamburgers and some great homemade food to over 200 soldiers from Kansas, Virginia and Tennessee. It was a great way to spend the long 4th of July weekend. more photos

And She Said Yes!

The USO volunteers were waiting the arrival of our WWII Veterans when they were informed that one of our soldiers was due to arrive from Iraq. He arrived and got down on one knee and proposed in front of everyone. It was a special moment for this couple and not a dry eye in the house.
