Dozens of Congress representatives and staffers streamed through the foyer of the Rayburn House Office Building on Wednesday morning to assemble the hygiene components for 2,500 USO Warrior Care Packs as part of the USO's 9/11 Service Project. These packs, which include items like toothbrushes, razors and other toiletries, go to troops overseas who are recovering from injuries or in transit back home for further medical assistance.
Here, USO President and CEO Sloan Gibson, Rep. Jeff Miller (R-Fla.) and Rep. Tim Walz (D-Minn.) explain how something so small can mean so much to service members.
